Local business cards are a marketing mechanism, the main purpose of which is to promote business name. Business cards include Business logo, Business Name, Business Address which includes street and/or post office box, city, state, and zip code, Business Contact Name and Title, and Business phone and fax numbers and email address. Local business cards are, in reality, calling cards, to be presented to potential customers, vendors and advertising use. Business cards are particularly helpful when attending business functions such as sales and marketing promotions, conferences and training seminars. Local business cards should be printed on standard business card stock in an easy-to-read font. Local business cards are usually 3 1/2 inches by 3 inches in size. Depending on the type of business, the business logo should always be the first identifier of local business cards. Adapt the local business card to the same type of easily recognizable logo in regular advertising promotions for the best business saturation. Wherever possible, keep local business cards readily available when an opportunity to exchange local business cards presents itself. The more local business cards are in circulation, the wider the sales and marketing net that is cast for potential sales.
