The roof of a house of a commercial building protects the structure from heat and rain. Often times when rain pours and the roof shields it, the water goes through the wall and may cause damage to the structure of the house because water penetrates inside the house or building causing extensive damage to the structure. Most homeowners consider having a gutter installed to divert the water from the roof away from the house and flows through the drain system. A rain gutter is a narrow channel that is connected to the roof system so that it collects and diverts the rainwater away from it. Rain gutters can be constructed from different type of materials such a cast iron, zinc, galvanized steel, painted steel, copper, PVC, and painted aluminum. When the water from the rain gutter is collected, it is fed using a downspout, which a long conductor that is connected from the roof edge to the base of the building where the water is spouted to the drain system or a rain barrel.
