When most people think of mailing supplies, they picture stamps and envelopes. These are the most common examples of mailing supplies, but retailers offers far more than these two simple products. There are lots of different kinds of mailing supplies. There are boxes to ship larger items or multiple things. Bubble wrap and foam wrap help keep delicate items safe during shipment. Envelopes and mailers are great for sending documents that are larger than personal letters. Labels save you the trouble of addressing envelopes by hand because your printer can be formatted to accommodate labels, too. Printing labels also saves your local post office from trying to read your messy handwriting! Mailing tubes are another option for sending documents. These work well for corporate presentations that include charts and graphs on poster board. Packing list envelopes let the recipient know what you're sending before he or she even opens the folder. These are also helpful for keeping records of shipments. Tissue paper makes retail items look nice while protecting them during the shipping process. Shrink wrap film covers larger items to shield them from possible damage. Tags are ideal for organizing outgoing orders, separating sold and unsold items, and sorting inventory. Tape and other adhesives ensure that items stay inside their packaging and provide extra assurance that labels will survive their journey. Shipping warehouses will want some or all of the following items: carton racks, gloves, roll storage, rubber bands, staplers, twine, stencils, spray lubricants, shelf labeling, rubber bands, knives, markers, and box cutters.
