Consumers have a wide variety of options for covering their windows, but the most stylish and popular one is probably venetian blinds. Venetian blinds were a fixture in many older movies because the shadows they created added a certain degree of ambiance to scenery on film, especially black and white pictures. Venetian blinds are composed of horizontal slats that are situated on top of one another, almost like a ladder.
