They should also carry several other brands of paint that are a little less expensive. Local paint stores should be able to mix and match paint to your satisfaction. In other words, you should be able to take in a color chart from almost any other paint store and they should be able to mix that color for you. Local paint stores should also sale all the necessities to paint. They should have drop clothes, paint brushes, paint rollers, roller frames, roller grids and any other item needed to do painting. When deciding which local paint stores to buy from the first thing to consider is what brand of paint you wish to use. Then simply find local paint stores (in the phone book or online) which carry that particular brand. However, do not go with the first one you call. Make sure to call around and get the best prices available. If for some reason you just want to deal with specific local paint stores, ask them if they can match or beat another store's prices.
