Marcela Espinosa, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Espinosa earned her medical degree from St. Louis University College of Medicine in the Philippines. She completed her internship at Akron General Medical Center in Ohio. She also completed residencies at Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center in Los Angeles and Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona. Dr. Espinosa's patients say she is very patient and a good listener. She believes strongly in involving patients in their own healthcare decisions. Dr. Espinosa believes that when patients learn more about their conditions, they are much more likely to take their care of themselves. In her spare time, Dr. Espinosa plays piano, practices yoga and Pilates, and enjoys traveling and going to the movies. In addition to English, she speaks Tagalog and Ilocano, and has a basic understanding of American Sign Language.
