Prarthana Gaddam, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Gaddam earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. She completed her internship and residency at Chesterfield Family Practice Center in Virginia. Dr. Gaddam chose family medicine because she loves the challenge of diagnosing a variety of medical conditions, and treating people of all ages and backgrounds. Patients say they like Dr. Gaddam's sense of humor, which puts them at ease. They also say she takes extra time to address their questions and concerns. Dr. Gaddam believes strongly in patient education and preventive healthcare. She encourages her patients to eat nutritious foods, exercise regularly, and reduce stress. In her spare time, Dr. Gaddam enjoys traveling. In addition to English, she speaks the Indian dialects of Telegu and Hindi.
