Dr. William G. Buxton is board-certified physician specializing in adult neurology with subspecialty certification in clinical neurophysiology and additional certification in electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. Buxton's special interests include neuropathies, especially those secondary to autoimmune disorders and other systemic processes, as well as the clinical interfaces between neurology, rheumatology and orthopedics. An active and experienced neuro-diagnostician, Dr. Buxton's practice is well established in electromyography, evoked potentials, and now neuromuscular ultrasound, as well as in electroencephalography. Dr. Buxton is honored to care for patients with complex nerve and muscle disorders, exploring novel diagnostic and therapeutic options in autoimmune neuromuscular disorders and developing new means to optimize neuro-diagnostic testing through combinations of more traditional EMG/NCS testing and newer ultrasound techniques.
