CULLIGAN OF OTTAWA HISTORY Culligan of Ottawa was founded in 1939 and was one of the first 25 dealerships in the Culligan system, out of almost 800 today. The dealership started as Ottawa Ice Company, where donkeys were used to deliver ice to local residents. Later it was Scherrer Hardware, and then in 1939, Culligan. The dealership has undergone many changes over the years, from small additions to a complete remodel in 2010. Despite the changes, our commitment to our customers have never wavered.
