Panda Programmer teaches computer programming to children ages 5 and above. We use summer camps, after-school programs, and weekend classes. "Instead of just PLAYING video games, have your kids DESIGN and PROGRAM them!" Students have a blast, while the Panda Programmer instructors guide them and help them learn logic, control structures, and graphics, all within a solid event-based model of computer programming. Students program their own customized animations, educational applications, and computer games. Panda Programmer uses the platforms Scratch and Scratch JR (both developed by MIT). Both platforms may be used by students to maintain their skills after the Panda Programmer class at no cost.
