Hisham H. Arar, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University and a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Dayton. While attending the University of Dayton, he presented and published many papers in the field of biomedical engineering. Dr. Arar then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in eye research involving corneal wound healing and macular degeneration. Dr. Arar presented the results of his work at the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and was the recipient of the Ohio Lion's Eye Research Foundation Fellowship for his research. He is now an ophthalmologist at Cincinnati Eye Institute.
