Founder Leon Sankofa, Sr., MSW, is a clinical sexologist, board-certified clinical hypnotist, and a certified trauma practitioner. The Family & Youth Foundations team diagnoses and treats anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and child behavior problems like attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and other mental health issues. He completed additional coursework through the Public Policy and Administration Doctoral Program at Virginia Commonwealth.
