Lizzie Marie Proves that You're Never Too Young to Start Being a Master Chef

Whether you're a beginner who's stepping foot in the kitchen for the very first time, or a mom looking for scrumptious but healthy recipes for the kids, Lizzie Marie Cuisine is one website that you should definitely bookmark. The site offers tons of cooking tips, product reviews, kitchen how-to's, and delicious recipes. If you're a novice in the kitchen, then check out Lizzie Marie's videos that provide visual, step-by-step demonstrations of how to cook certain dishes. Lizzie Marie Cuisine also puts a lot of emphasis on healthy eating, and only publishes recipes with natural and low-sodium ingredients.

But perhaps the most note-worthy tidbit about this food website is that the girl who runs it, Lizzie Marie Likness, is only eleven years old. That's right, before even hitting her teens, this admirable young lady has not only inspired countless people to take the healthier route when it comes to cooking, but she also managed to build a thriving business in the competitive food industry.

Her story began when she was around six years old. In order to pay for horseback riding lessons, she sold homemade goodies at a local farmers market. This not only allowed her to pay for those lessons, but her little business at farmers market made her realize that people could really benefit from her cooking skills and talent. With the help of her dad, she was able to set up a website, shoot a video, and build an online presence. The rest is history.

Lizzie Marie has already completed several projects and even won a grant for "Tasty Tidbits," a project that she came up with for food education. This paved the way for an appearance in "The Kindness Challenge", a competition by DoSomething.org, USA Today, and the Rachael Ray Show. She was also featured in numerous publications and shows such as Fox News, CNN, The Huffington Post, and more.

Currently, aside from cooking and blogging, Lizzie also stars in Healthy Cooking With Chef Lizzie, a video series for kids at WebMD's FIT channel.

What's next in line for the young entrepreneur? Lizzie Marie told CNN and The Huffington Post that she's now working on a cookbook for kids and adults. There's also a possibility of having her own line of products, and maybe even a cooking show in the future. She's already being dubbed as the next Rachel Ray, so a TV spot is a solid possibility.

In her interview with CNN, Lizzie Marie shares one piece of advice for those who wish to start a venture: "Don't be afraid to ask for help, start small, and if you encounter doubters, 'that's their own problem.'" Yes, Lizzie Marie's story is truly an inspiring one, and the greatest takeaway the both kids and adults can get from her business (aside from the scrumptious recipes) is that when it comes building a thriving business, there is no age limit.
